Take a Picture or Video

Take and edit a picture or video, use the front and rear camera, and switch between camera and video modes.

ACCESS CAMERA: From the home screen, select the Camera app.

Note: Alternately, you can access the camera from the lock screen by selecting and dragging the Camera icon up, or by pressing the Power/Lock button twice. This device has a 12MP rear-facing camera and a 8MP front-facing camera. The video recorder is 1080p at 30fps.
SWITCH BETWEEN CAMERAS: To switch between front and rear camera, select the Switch camera icon.
CHANGE CAMERA MODE: Swipe right to desired camera mode.

FOCUS THE CAMERA: Touch the desired area of the photo you wish to focus on. A square will appear when the area is selected.
ZOOM IN/OUT: Move two fingers apart towards the edge of the screen to zoom in. Move two fingers inward towards the middle of the screen to zoom out.
TAKE A PHOTO: Select the Shutter icon.

Note: Select and hold the Shutter icon to continuously take multiple photos.
RECORD A VIDEO: Swpe left to VIDEO, then select the Record icon.
STOP A RECORDING: Select the Stop icon.

Note: Videos are automatically saved when recording ends.
ACCESS AND SHARE PHOTOS & VIDEOS: From the Camera screen, select the Gallery icon to access your photos and videos. Select the Share icon on the desired photo or video, then follow the prompts to share.

Note: Photos and videos can also be viewed from the home screen by selecting the Photos app.
