Use NFC to share content such as photos and contacts between compatible devices.

  1. NFC is a wireless technology that allows your device to communicate by touching, or being in close proximity to, other NFC devices or tags. Swipe down from the top of the screen, then tap the Settings icon.

  2. Swipe to the CONNECTIONS tab and tap NFC.

  3. Tap the NFC switch to toggle NFC on or off.

  4. When NFC is enabled, the NFC icon will display in the Notification bar.

  5. To share a photo via NFC, from the Apps screen, tap Gallery.
    Note: To access the Apps screen, tap the Apps icon on the home screen.

  6. Tap the Desired photo.

  7. Tap the Share icon.

  8. Tap Android Beam.

  9. Touch the back of the device to another NFC-enabled device. Once the devices connect the data will transfer automatically.

  10. To quickly turn NFC on and off, from the quick settings menu tap the Expand icon.

  11. Tap the NFC icon to turn the feature on or off.
