Messaging Settings

Change text (SMS), picture (MMS), Advanced Messaging, wireless emergency (WEA), and AMBER alert settings.
INSTRUCTIONS & INFO

• ACCESS MESSAGING SETTINGS: From the home screen, press the Select key to open the Messages app. 

Press the Options key, then press the down directional key to scroll to Settings. Press the Select key.

• MESSAGING SETTINGS OPTIONS: Press the down directional key to scroll to the desired option, then press the Select key to access the desired settings.

° EDIT MESSAGE NOTIFICATIONS: Select Group notification message.
° ACCESS SMS SETTINGS: Select Text (SMS) messages settings.
° ACCESS MMS SETTINGS: Select Multimedia (MMS) messages settings. 

• ENABLE/DISABLE EMERGENCY ALERTS: From the Messages app, press the Options key, then press the down directional key to scroll to Wireless Emergency Alerts. Press the Select key.

Press the Options key, then press the Select key to select Settings.

Press the down directional key to scroll to the desired alert, then press the Select key to turn the desired alert on or off.
