- Make sure your device is fully charged and connected to Wi-Fi.
- Swipe down from the Notification bar and select Settings.
- Scroll to and select System, then About Phone.
- Select Software Update, then Update now.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the update.
- The device automatically restarts once the new software successfully installs.
Verify software update
- Swipe down from the Notification bar and select Settings.
- Scroll to and select System, then About phone.
- Select Software information.
- If the Android and Software version don’t match the current update details; perform additional updated until they do.
