perfect solution.
I wanted to keep my old earbuds. This solution works well. My volume and mic on the earbuds work fine through this adapter.

Broken after a month, zero support from AT&T
It's annoying that we need to purchase one of these ridiculous things rather than just having a jack for the headset built into the phone as it always was. That said, this product appears to be the only thing that works... but it's only a short time before it fails. I've had to buy three now and it's only been just over a month. When you move slightly there is a static sound and the audio goes out and you can't hear at all unless it's held a very specific way. Contacted AT&T to replace it since See more

Lasted about a week

Worked perfectly when I bought it, but after only 2 weeks I get random loud static and have to twist the cable around to get it to stop. I switched aux cords so I know it isn't that.

Not worth even the $10 they're asking for

Very cheap construction, and pretty much crap. After about 3 months, one ear wouldn't connect unless you put the wire in a very specific position, and within about another 2 months, it was constantly crackling and cutting out no matter what you do. Don't bother.

Q: I use the Square pay card reader with my Samsung S9, new models dont have the headphone jacks anymore(which is ridiculous) will this work with the reader?
