iPhone 7 battery life poor
With my 2 1/2 year old iPhone 6, I had to charge the battery every day and a half. With my new iPhone 7, I have to charge the phone TWICE a day.

I've had it since yesterday, the 16th. Upgraded from an iPhone 6, without having test equipment and relying on my senses, it gives me the impression that for many operations it's darn close to twice as fast. Using the same wifi and cell connections, it loads apps and content really quick. So for a short time review, it was only released yesterday, I'm amazed. If it lives up to the reliability that I've received from previous Apple products, I'll be pleased.

Quirks need to be fixed

Upgraded as I needed more storage space. Do not care for the new ios. Bluetooth does not always connect to set up devices. Will intermittently disconnect with no warning, or auto connect to another Bluetooth device nearby during a conversation.
One phone call will sometimes show up as 234 or five missed calls. Voicemails have taken up to eight hours to post. When listening to a voicemail, it will stop and you have to re-launch the voicemail message! Voicemail will lock up after listening to a message, only way to listen to next message is to reboot phone.
Overall, new phone has been very frustrating! Wishing I was using my iPhone 6!

Great phone ; poor set up/transfer directions

The I phone 7 itself is great. Setting up the phone based on the enclosed "instructions" is very poorly designed..and is frustrating and annoying. Very ambiguous as to what gets done first... getting the service transferred over from old to new ; or to set up the phone transfer from old to new.. I have owned iPhones since the very first and I am very computer savvy, so I didn't think it "was me".. Why doesn't ATT QA this by giving 50 people in a room a new phone out of the box and have them try to do an old-to-new phone transfer using their own internet services.....I doubt very much any QA was done on this instructional process.....I love my ATT service (4 devices); but did not love this shoddy lack of clarity. Wasted a 1.5h to get something which would have been really quick and simple done had it been explained clearly: Step 1.....Step 2....Step3......duh..

- A: Hi mishellsrose, It is close to the same when it comes to talk time. The 4G radio barely uses any more power than the 3G radio. The difference comes in that 4G will usually be faster, so you will be using data more and doing more tasks on your phone, which will drain the battery faster. Q: In response to a prior question about whether the iPhone 7 available for purchase by prepaid customers will work with a 5G plan, the customer service agent replied "No." Does this mean that after February 2022, this phone will no longer work with ATT?

- A: From a consumer stand point..it appears that you may be able to purchase it initially with a plan. Then the carrier may allow you to pay the remainder of the phone cost after the first month.5 years agoHelpful?
