Performing a Factory Reset
A factory reset will erase all data from your device and is irreversible. This is good to do if you are going to trade in or sell your device. It will wipe all of your personal information from the device.
1.
From the Home screen, tap Apps.

Swipe to Settings.
3.
Tap Settings.
4.
Tap ACCOUNTS.
5.
Scroll to Backup and reset.
6.
Tap Backup and reset. Before proceeding, make sure you designate a back up account. Otherwise, you will lose all photos, videos, and other information on your phone.
7.
Tap Factory data reset.
8.
Scroll to RESET DEVICE.
9.
Tap RESET DEVICE.
10.
Tap ERASE EVERYTHING.
11.
You've completed the steps!
