Performing a Factory Reset
A factory reset will erase all data from your device and is irreversible. This is good to do if you are going to trade in or sell your device. It will wipe all of your personal information from the device.
1.
From the Home screen, tap Apps.

Swipe to Settings.
3.
Tap Settings.
4.
Scroll to Backup and reset.
5.
Tap Backup and reset. Before proceeding, make sure you have a backup account set up, as a factory reset will erase all photos, videos, and data on your phone.
6.
Tap Factory data reset.
7.
Scroll to RESET DEVICE.
8.
Tap RESET DEVICE.
9.
Tap ERASE EVERYTHING.
10.
You've completed the steps!
