Google Pay

Use Google Pay to make in-app and tap-to-pay purchases from your device.

Google Pay can be used at payment terminals that feature the google pay icon Google Pay symbol or the contactless icon Contactless symbol. Set up Google Pay

1. From the home screen, swipe up to access the Apps tray then navigate to and select the google pay app GPay app.

 

2. Select Continue.

3. Select or add your phone number, then select Continue.

4. Enter the code sent to your phone number. Google Pay will verify the code.

5. Select Next, then select the desired options to continue through the privacy prompts. 

 

Note: If you do not already have a security lock setup, you will be prompted to set one up at this time. Select Set screen lock and follow the prompts to complete setup.

6. Select Got it.

7. To add a method of payment, select Set up tap to pay, then select Add a card and follow the prompts to complete setup.

Use Google Pay

To use Google Pay in stores, your phone must be unlocked and NFC must be enabled. To unlock your device, press the Side button located on the right side of the device then swipe up from the bottom of the lock screen.

 

Note: If you have set up a screen lock, enter your current screen lock or place and hold your finger on the fingerprint sensor located on the Side button to unlock.

To enable NFC, swipe down from the Notification bar with two fingers. Swipe left, then select the NFC icon. 

 

Note: To add the NFC icon to Expanded Quick Settings, select the add Edit icon > Edit > select and drag the NFC icon to the desired position. When finished, select Done then select the Back arrow.
