1. From the home screen, tap the Apps icon.
   
2. Tap Settings.
   
3. Scroll to, then tap Security.
   
4. Tap Screen lock.
   
5. Tap Pattern.
   
6. Touch, then drag, to draw the desired pattern.
   
7. Tap CONTINUE.
   
8. Touch, then drag, to draw the pattern again.
   
9. Tap CONFIRM.
   
10. Tap the desired option.
    
11. The pattern lock has been set.
    
12. From the lock screen, touch, then drag up on the Lock icon.
    
13. Touch, then drag to draw the set pattern.
    
14. Your phone will now unlock.
