1. Press the Volume keys to adjust the ringtone volume level.
   
2. To set the phone to silent, from the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen to reveal the Device Settings menu.
   
3. Tap the Ring icon to switch between silent and normal.
   
4. To set the phone to vibrate, tap Settings.
   
5. Tap Notifications.
   
6. Tap the Mode field.
   
7. Scroll to, then tap Vibrate Only.
   
8. To change the volume settings, tap the Back icon.
   
9. Tap Main Volume.
   
10. Scroll to, then adjust the volume settings as desired.
    
11. When silent or vibrate mode is on, the Silent icon will be displayed in the Notifications bar.
