1. When using the BlackBerry Q10 Keypad, press a character or number key to input the designated character.
   
2. Press the Shift key to capitalize the next letter typed.
   
3. Press and hold the Shift key to enable CAPS LOCK.
   
4. Press the alt key to enter numbers and common special characters.
   
5. To access additional characters, press the sym key.
   
6. Press and hold the Microphone key to enable voice control.
   
7. To copy and paste, touch and hold the desired text.
   
8. Touch and drag the Blue marker icons to select the desired text.
   
9. Tap the Copy icon.
   
10. Touch and hold the desired text field.
    
11. Tap the Paste icon.
    
12. To access the keyboard settings, from the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    
13. Tap Settings.
    
14. Scroll to, then tap Language and input.
    
15. Scroll to, then tap to edit the keyboard settings as desired.
