1. From the home screen, tap the Messaging icon.
   
2. Tap the Compose icon.
   
3. Enter the desired recipient.
   
4. Tap the Message field, then enter the desired message.
   
5. To add an attachment, tap the + icon.
   
6. Tap the desired attachment type.
   Note: This tutorial selects 'Pictures'.
   
7. Tap the desired file to attach.
   
8. Tap the Send icon.
   
9. Tap the desired message to view.
   
10. When a new message is received, the New message icon will be displayed.
