1. From the home screen, tap the Settings icon.
   
2. Scroll to, then tap About
   
3. Android version will be listed under Android version.
   
4. To check for an update, tap AT&T Software Update.
   
5. Tap Check for updates.
   
6. If an update is available, follow the on-screen prompts to update. Otherwise, tap OK.
   
7. To see the Build number, tap Software information.
   
8. The Build number is displayed.
