1. From the home screen, swipe to, then tap Setup.
   
2. Tap Password.
   
3. Tap the Device Password switch to toggle Password security on/off.
   
4. Enter and confirm the desired password.
   
5. Tap OK.
   
6. To log in to your device, enter the chosen password.
   
7. Tap OK.
   
8. To change the security type, tap the Picture Password switch, then follow on-screen prompts.
