Wi-Fi network name
Learn how to change the network name for your device.
INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
- From the home screen, tap the Hotspot widget.
- Tap Settings.
- To change the network name, tap the Network name field, then enter the desired text.
- Tap Next.
- Enter the desired password, then tap DONE.
- Tap Save.
- Alternatively, from the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen to access the Notifications menu.
- Tap the Settings icon.
- From the Network tab, tap Mobile Hotspot, then repeat steps 2-6.
- The default Network name is also displayed on the bottom of the device.
