1. From the home screen, swipe down from the Notification bar.
   Note: The device will automatically attempt to set the date and time from the network. This tutorial demonstrates how to manually set the date and time on your device.
   
2. Tap the Settings icon.
   
3. Under the General tab, scroll to, then tap Date & time.
   
4. If turned on, tap Auto-date & time to turn off.
   
5. Tap Set date.
   
6. Scroll to the desired date.
   
7. Tap OK.
   
8. Tap Set time.
   
9. Scroll to the desired time.
   
10. Tap OK.
    
11. Tap Use 24-hour format to switch between 12-hour and 24-hour formats.
    
12. To set an alarm, from the Alarms tab, tap the Add icon.
    
13. Set the desired alarm time.
    
14. Tap to select the days on which the alarm will be active.
    
15. Edit additional settings as desired, then tap Save.
    
16. Tap the Alarm icon to toggle an alarm on/off.
    
17. To set a timer, tap the Timer tab.
    
18. Tap each field, then enter the desired time using the keypad.
    
19. Tap Start to start the timer.
