1. The first Microsoft account associated with this device may have its settings edited, but a Device reset is required to change the email address or delete it.
   
2. From the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen to reveal the Action Center.
   
3. Tap ALL SETTINGS.
   
4. Tap email+accounts.
   
5. Tap add an account.
   
6. Tap Microsoft account.
   
7. Tap sign in.
   
8. Tap the Email address field.
   
9. Enter the account email address.
   
10. Tap next.
    
11. Enter the account password.
    
12. Tap next.
    
13. Tap the Verify email address field.
    
14. Enter the corresponding email address.
    
15. Tap next.
    
16. Check the listed email account for an email from 'Microsoft account team' and take note of the security code. Tap the Code field.
    
17. Enter the code received in the email.
    
18. Tap next.
    
19. Tap the desired option.
    
20. The account is now ready for use. Tap Microsoft account to view and edit the account settings.
