1. The device will automatically attempt to set the date and time from the network.  This tutorial demonstrates how to manually set the date and time on your device.
   
2. Swipe down from the top of the screen to access the Quick Settings bar, then tap the Settings icon.
   
3. Under the General tab, tap Date and time.
   
4. To deactivate automatic date and time, tap the unceck Automatic date and time box.
   
5. To set your date, tap Set date.
   
6. Select your desired date and tap OK.
   
7. To set your time, tap Set time.
   
8. Select your desired time and tap OK.
   
9. To set an alarm, tap the Apps icon.
   
10. Tap the Alarm app.
    
11. Tap the Add icon, to create a new alarm.
    
12. Input the desired settings and tap SAVE.
    
13. To set a timer, tap the Timer tab.
    
14. Set the Desired time, then tap START.
