App troubleshooting

Use application manager and usage manager to improve your app and device performance.

  1. To clear your app cache, swipe down from the top of the screen, then tap the Settings icon.

  2. From the General tab, tap Apps.

  3. Tap Desired app, then tap Storage.

  4. Tap Clear cache.

  5. To stop an app via the Usage Manager tap AT&T folder > Usage Manager APPS > tap Close all apps to stop all running apps, or scroll down and tap Stop next to a single desired app.

  6. To see if an app update is available, tap the Play Store icon.

  7. Tap the Menu icon.

  8. Tap My apps & games.

  9. Tap the Desired app you would like to update.

  10. Tap UPDATE.

  11. Tap ACCEPT.

  12. To remove an app, tap UNINSTALL.

  13. Tap OK.

  14. To reinstall, tap INSTALL.

  15. Tap ACCEPT.
