As of July 1, 2025, AT&T and DIRECTV became separate companies. This change will affect how you receive bills, but your AT&T and DIRECTV services will stay the same.
What’s changing
If you receive a single bill for bundled AT&T and DIRECTV services, you should have received an email and a bill message about the changes due to the split. If you didn’t, check your contact preferences in your AT&T account profile to make sure your email address is correct. You can also check your junk or spam folders in your email.
Beginning at the billing separation date provided in your notice, you’ll receive separate bills from AT&T and DIRECTV. These aren’t duplicates. Pay each bill separately to avoid disruption of services. It may take up to two bill periods to start receiving separate bills.
What’s not changing
- Existing contracts and service terms remain as is.
- Existing discounts or credits for AT&T products remain the same. Check the notice you received by mail or email for details.
- Existing discounts or credits for DIRECTV products remain the same. After your bill has been split into two bills, you can see details about your DIRECTV bill online at directv.com.
