Quick tips
- Make sure each synced device has the latest software installed.
- Confirm your smartphone is connected to our network.
- Restart your devices if you’re having a syncing issue.
- Check with your internet service provider about your default settings if you can’t make calls over Wi-Fi®.
User ID tips
Update the wireless phone number linked to your AT&T user ID
For AndroidTM tablets and Connected Car, use the same ID and password for your smartphone number to set up and use AT&T NumberSync®. This ensures calls sent to and from a synced device are linked to the correct AT&T smartphone number.
- Don’t have a user ID? You can create a user ID.
- Not sure what your ID is? Go to the Forgot user ID page and follow the prompts.
- You already have a user ID if you manage your AT&T WirelessSM account online. For NumberSync, use the ID listed on your online profile. NumberSync isn’t available for AT&T Prepaid®.
- Don’t see the number you want to sync? Learn how to assign your wireless phone number to your ID.
- You can also manage your NumberSync settings to add or remove devices as needed.
Sync a device to an AT&T phone number on a different account
If your watch is on a different AT&T account than your smartphone, just use the user ID and password for the smartphone account to sync them.
