AT&T Unlimited Premium PL now provides unlimited call, talk, text, & high-speed data while traveling in 19 Latin American countries at no extra cost.1 Keep in mind, that’s on top of all the other great features you already get with AT&T Unlimited Premium , including service in and between the U.S., Mexico, and Canada.
Here is a full of list of new countries where AT&T Unlimited Premium PL customers can expect their service to stay connected—all without roaming charges or needing to change SIM cards:
Central America
South America
If you’re an AT&T Unlimited Premium customer, you don’t have to do anything to activate service in eligible Latin American countries. This feature is part of your plan, so it will start working on its own whenever you travel to one of the 19 countries at no extra cost to you.
If you have an AT&T plan other than AT&T Unlimited Premium, you still have one great option for travelling abroad. AT&T also allows you to take eligible domestic plans abroad and get unlimited talk, text, and high-speed data2 in more than 210 different destinations. Simply add AT&T International Day Pass®.
International Day Pass costs $10 dollars per day for the first line on your account and $5 for each additional line used on the same calendar day. You will never have to pay for more than 10 days per line, per bill. After those 10 days, you can continue using your phone through the end of the bill cycle for no additional charge. The other good thing is that you’ll only pay for the days you use.
If you’re done using your phone but you’re still traveling abroad, you should turn off data roaming in your device settings to avoid being charged for unintentional use. One other nice thing about International Day Pass, though, is you won’t have to manually turn off this feature once you return to the United States. You can keep it on each line on your account and you’ll be all set for your next trip. You won’t be charged again until you use your phone in one of the 210+ destinations.
