Good choice
The promised trade off: a little less slimness for a little more protection. Seems like a no-brainer unless you’re an extreme stress tester with a spandex wardrobe.

Just okay....
The rubber back boarder is coming off in spots after only 5 months. I am not hard on my phones, in fact, I had my previous pelican case for the whole 3.5 years I had my iPhone 6plus with no issues. That said, the case protects my phone fine. I just think I will have to replace it within the next 6 months and I think it should last longer than a year for the cost.
