The HTC Status. The new "Facebook phone." Commercially exploded lately. I have owned this phone for awhile now, and I can truly say this is a great phone. I don't seem to have any serious, debilitating problems with it; works great, follows up on all advertised services, etc. But, may I warn you, that everything they say it is, is what it is, nothing extra. It's kind of like seeing the previews to a movie on TV, and you know what it's all about. That kind of thing... But anyways, it seems like a pretty cool, seamless phone. I intend on keeping it unless an issue is brought up...Not much else to say. The Facebook button is much smaller than it looks like in pictures and advertisements, but it's not a problem and I believe it may be an advantage. I would say it's a little bit smaller than the size of the end of the eraser on a pencil (Picture below). For some reason I can't download some items from the Android Market, which was kind of disappointing but I got over it. Another small problem of mine is that there aren't many settings for some things. Now later on I do say that it's very customizable, but I mean that in that sense, not in the Settings sense. There's some things I want to tweak in applications such as messaging, gallery, people, etc., but sadly I can't find a TRUE Setting possibility for those items. Otherwise, super fast speed, durable (to this point, at least), very easy to text on, customizable, and handles great. Phone quality is not the best, but it surely works just fine. It might sound like I've listed a lot of Cons, but really I do find this a truly amazing phone. Love it so much, and it fits to all of my requirements. A great camera on it, too. 5MP (Megapixels) I think? A very good camera for pictures and videos. Very easy to use, not difficult to learn your way around it, but it's not TOO simple either. A lot of people have complained about the battery life not being good at all; and I have no clue what they're talking about! As long as you stay mostly off of games and apps and such, this phone lasts from 7am to 10pm at night. It seriously lasts all day, and I text and surf the web and use my phone a lot. A lot of people have complained about the size of the screen; that's definitely not something to worry about, either. The screen is adequate if not MORE than adequate, even if you're using it portrait-style. Perfect sized screen. Love the fact that you can use it on Wi-Fi networks, too. Saves a lot of money/usage on your data plan. Don't worry about the battery life AT ALL, if you've read other reviews. Ooh, and one more thing; LOVE LOVE LOVE the touchscreen!!! Not a fan of full touch phones, but this comes with a navigable arrow set on the keyboard, too, so you can use that for some tasks. You will use the touchscreen to get to pretty much everything, though. This is a great phone for a texter or typer, but if you're not very tech-savvy, it's definitely not the phone for you. I love this phone. Great job, HTC!!
