The worst phone I've used since the Nokia e62
This isn't a flagship phone, so I'm not holding to that standard. This is in the realm of the Motorola G, a vastly superior phone.

Amazing Smartphone
This smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017), is an amazing phone. The battery last longer than any smartphone I've owned! If you're looking for a lower cost phone than the Galaxy S series, but with most of the same functionality at a reasonable price, this is the phone.
Personally, I don't need all the upgrades of the Galaxy S8, like the fingerprint sensor, NFC, or Bixby, so this phone meets my needs perfectly. I never used those features anyway, so I don't miss them at all. I'm going to stick with the Galaxy J series, I'm so impressed!

Breaks Easily
Although the phone worked adequately in the beginning, it quickly slowed down and stopped functioning properly. The screen is unresponsive, and the slow system is painfully evident when switching between apps or asking the phone to do some basic tasks (like pull up a different keyboard). Finally, I dropped my phone from about three feet onto linoleum, in an otter box, and it broke completely beyond repair. After looking around, I found some similar complaints about how the bargain phone is a bargain by compromising the way it is constructed. I would not recommend the phone because I do not know what other measures I could have taken to ensure the safety of my phone, and it still broke.

meh

it had problems straight out of the box. from the keyboard randomly closing, youtube randomly closing, and sometimes needing to put in the password multiple times to get into it (these are just to name a few problems), this phone was one of the worse phones that Ive had. The only thing that stopped it from being THE worst is the fact that I've had multiple cellphones that were straight from china and were pretty much useless. Regardless, this phone lasted me a decent while, but it had problems that I'd obviously rather not deal with and I ultimately ended up destroying it in anger from it freezing up.
No, I do not recommend this product.

The worst phone I've used since the Nokia e62
7 years ago
This isn't a flagship phone, so I'm not holding to that standard. This is in the realm of the Motorola G, a vastly superior phone.
I started with attempting to "remove" or disable, since you can't actually remove the forced bloatware apps to reclaim your precious limited storage, when I learned about the responsiveness of the touch screen. This touch screen is the worst I've ever used and I'm comparing it to the resistive touch screens of the early 2000s in addition to all the other capacitive ones I've used in the past. While disabling these apps, I had to tap 4 and sometimes 5 times to get a response, this is minutes after unboxing. Interaction with the touch screen is the top of the list of important and necessary functions of a modern smartphone; this alone deems the phone unusable in my eyes. Forgot screen size, bezels, cameras, call quality, or processor; if I can't reliably depend on the touchscreen, the phone is junk.
What else, of the 16GB of storage you have access to 7.7GB after uninstalling and disabling bloatware. Yes I can upgrade it with an SD card, but not all apps allow you to default to the SD card. Also the model I have was advertised as having 3GB of RAM when received; this really has 2GB.
I say pass on this. You are better served buying a used 4 year old phone. I put this back in the box after 30 minutes of use. I'll stick with my S5 Active from 2014.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Great price and performance

This is first smartphone for me, and so much like my tablet the learning curve is simplified. A far better price for an unfamiliar device, plus the cost of the plan makes it attractive.
Yes, I recommend this product.
