If you've read the negative reviews, none of the people actually own this phone. They are dissing the quad-core to dual-core, claiming it is dumbed down for the same price. Actually, a 1.5 GHz dual-core will outperform a 1.4 GHz quad-core that a network can't support and will only lead to deteriorated battery. This will not affect the phone's performance and this change actually works for the betterment of efficiency. If you've done your research, this phone is a contender for phone of the year, meant to compete with the new iPhone that will be released this Fall. It will be the BEST android phone on the market, no doubt about it. iOS and Android are personal preferences, with iOS being more simplistic and user-friendly out of the box. That being said, Android has much more customization options, allowing for imported keyboards, camera layouts, etc. The design of the phone is better than the previous Galaxy SII, utilizing the same build quality but now with Gorilla Glass. The display is vibrant, and note while it is not AMOLED+, it will not let down with its vivid imaging. Ease of Use can be what you want it to be. The interaction is more lively, with more animated actions. Battery is phenomenal, just search the battery test against the HTC One X and iPhone 4S and there is no contest. Features are limitless, including Eye-tracking (which may not work flawlessly, but it is still available) to keep the display active while you are looking at the screen, inductive charging so there's no need for wires, and this phone can even act as a USB hub for USB devices or feed its screen to a TV via HDMI. Music is well-defined as Samsung has always stressed its mobile devices to include great media hubs and this is no exception. Coming off of the Galaxy SII may be difficult, but Samsung would not release an inferior product to last year's design. Haters will always be present, but before you let the negative reviews affect the overall rating, please read this and read up on this phone on a reputable review site before dissing it because: 1. you're an avid iPhone owner 2. demo'd the phone for 5 minutes in-store and have no real-life application with the device 3. don't believe this Galaxy is better than the previous
Note to readers: I have owned every iPhone generation, and this phone has awed me in more ways than any iPhone ever has.
