Managing background app refresh for individual apps
You can set battery usage allowances for certain apps on your device. If an app is using too much battery life or is behaving incorrectly, you can force stop the application.
1.
From within Settings, tap General.

Scroll to and tap Background App Refresh.
3.
Tap Background App Refresh again.
You can tap or slide the switch next to individual apps to turn background refresh on and off for specific apps. Turning it off for individual apps may help preserve battery life.

Select your preferences.
