Creating a new shortcut using Apple Intelligence
Create a new shortcut and add the "Use Model" action, found under the new Apple Intelligence section in the Shortcuts app. You can then select from on-device models, Apple's Private Cloud Compute, or ChatGPT to process your custom prompts within the shortcut.

From the Shortcuts app, tap the Plus icon.

Scroll to and tap Apple Intelligence.
Shortcuts can string together a series of commands. If you add another step to your shortcut, such as a note or image, Apple Intelligence will be able to use that step's information as part of its output.

From this screen, you can select a language model to incorporate into your shortcut:
- Cloud - Select this option to utilize Apple Intelligence via the cloud. Requests may take longer, but will likely provide more detailed and helpful responses.
- On-Device - Choose this model for faster requests that may be less helpful, but more secure and less dependent on your wireless connection.
- ChatGPT - Selecting this model will send your query to ChatGPT for detailed online replies with conversation memory.
