Using turn-by-turn directions
The Maps application can help guide you to your destination. Learn how to use Maps on your device to navigate to any location with turn-by-turn directions.
1.
From the apps screen, tap the Maps icon.
You can view your apps in a list view if you prefer.

Tap the Search icon.

Tap the Grid icon.
4.
Tap Restaurant.
In this tutorial we're getting directions to a restaurant. You can also search across other categories with your voice, Scribble, or Contacts.

Select a restaurant.
Tap the menu icon on the top right to view a list of restaurants near you.
6.
Tap the Drive icon.
7.
Tap the Drive icon again.
8.
Select the type of directions you need.
Here you can select what type of directions you need. Walking, driving, biking or transit directions.
9.
Select a route.
10.
You've completed the steps!
