Recording and Transcribing a Phone Call
Record an ongoing phone call. The recording will be saved and transcribed within the notes app.
1.
From an ongoing phone call, tap the More icon.
2.
Tap Call Recording.
3.
Tap the Stop icon when you've finished recording your phone call.
After a recording is completed, a transcript will be generated and saved in the Notes app. Ending the call also stops the recording.

Tap the notification shown when the recording is complete to view the transcript in the Notes app.
You can also navigate to the Notes app normally to view your recording.
5.
Select your recording.
6.
Tap the Play icon.
Some iPads that have Apple Intelligence can use the AI summarize feature on these transcriptions in the notes app. You can listen to the phone call recording and view the transcript here.
