Checking for software updates
Keep your phone up to date by checking for new software regularly. A new Operating System (also known as an OS) version may have security patches and performance improvements for your device.
1.
From the Watch app main screen on iPhone, scroll to General.
2.
Tap General.
3.
Tap Software Update.
If you choose to download a software update, keep your Watch on its charger until the update completes.
