Turning RCS messaging on or off
RCS (Rich Communication Services) is an upgraded messaging standard that enables features like read receipts, typing indicators, high-quality media sharing, and improved group chats over your network.

From within the Settings app, scroll to and tap Apps.

Scroll to and tap Messages.
3.
Scroll to and tap RCS Messaging.
4.
Tap or slide the RCS Messaging switch to ON.
- If a "Waiting for activation" message appears or any other issues occur, contact your carrier for further instructions.
- End-to-End Encryption will be enabled by default to provide a more secure communication method between devices. Some carriers and regions may not support End-to-End Encryption.
