Pausing and changing a subscription in Google Play
Pausing and changing a subscription in Google Play gives you greater control over your payments and allows you to customize your service access to fit your current needs, preventing you from paying for services you aren't using.

From the Play Store app main screen, tap the Account icon.

Tap Payments & subscriptions.

Tap Subscriptions.

Select the subscription you'd like to adjust.

From this screen you can adjust multiple settings for your active subscription:
- Pause Payments - Some apps let you pause your subscription. When you pause a subscription, your subscription pauses at the end of your current billing period. Depending on the app and subscription, the available pause durations can range from one week to three months. You can resume your subscription anytime.
- Change Plan - Some apps allow you to change your subscription plan. Any price and billing adjustments depend on the new plan chosen.
- Update Primary payment method - Allows you to change your preferred primary payment method.
- Set up Backup payment method - Allows you to change your preferred backup payment method.
