Adding and removing contacts from favorites
Update your favorites list to keep your favorite contacts easily accessible. Removing contacts from your favorites list does not remove them from your device. If the contact is stored directly on your SIM card you may not be able to add it to your favorites.
1.
From the Contacts app, select the contact you'd like to add to favorites.

Tap the Star icon to add the contact to favorites.
When the Star icon is black, that means the contact has been designated as a favorite.

Swipe from the left or right edge of the screen to view your changes.

To remove a contact from favorites, select the contact you'd like to remove.
5.
Tap the Star icon to remove the contact from favorites.
6.
Swipe from the left or right edge of the screen to view your changes.
Removing a contact from your favorites won't delete the contact from your device.
7.
You've completed the steps!
