Setting iPhone to silent
When your device is in do not disturb or silent mode, it will not make a sound to notify you of incoming notifications.
1.
From the Home screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to access the Control Panel.

Tap Focus.
3.
Tap Do Not Disturb.
You can also use the Volume buttons to lower the volume to silent, or switch the Ring/Silent switch on the side of iPhone to silent.
