Managing App Power Usage and Force Closing Apps
You can set battery usage allowances for certain apps on your device. If an app is using too much battery life or is behaving incorrectly, you can force stop the application.
1.
From the Home screen, tap Apps.

Swipe to Settings.
3.
Tap Settings.
4.
Tap More.
5.
Tap Application Manager.
6.
Swipe to RUNNING.
7.
Scroll to an app.
8.
Select an app.
9.
Tap Stop. Only use this feature if an app isn't properly working or you suspect it may be malicious. Otherwise, tap and hold the Home button to close open apps.
10.
You've completed the steps!
