Managing App Power Usage and Force Closing Apps
You can set battery usage allowances for certain apps on your device. If an app is using too much battery life or is behaving incorrectly, you can force stop the application.
1.
From the Home screen, drag down the Notification Panel.

Tap the Settings icon.
3.
Scroll to Applications.
4.
Tap Application manager.
5.
Tap an app.
6.
Tap Storage.
7.
Tap CLEAR DATA.
8.
Tap DELETE.
9.
Tap the Back button.
10.
To stop an app, tap FORCE STOP. Only use this if the app isn't properly working or you suspect it may be malicious.
11.
Tap FORCE STOP.
12.
You've completed the steps!
