Backing up and restoring your phone
It is a good idea to back up your device's information to the cloud regularly in case something happens to your device. Backing up your device's data to the cloud can also make it easier to set up a new device.
1.
From the Home screen, drag down the Notification panel.

Drag down the Quick settings panel.
3.
Tap the Settings icon.
4.
Scroll to System.
5.
Tap System.
6.
Tap Backup.
7.
Switch Back up to Google Drive to ON.
Your Google device allows unlimited photo storage.
8.
Tap Account.
9.
Select your preferred backup account.
10.
Tap OK.
11.
You've completed the steps!
