Add contacts

Not sure which version of mail you use? Learn how to change between basic and full mail

From AT&T Mail

  1. Select Contacts Contacts icon.
  2. Choose +Add a new contact.
  3. Enter the details and select Save.
To save a contact from an open email, select + Add to contacts.

From basic mail
  1. Select Contacts.
  2. Choose Add Contact.
  3. Enter the details and select Save.

Edit or remove contacts

From your basic webmail inbox
  1. Select Contacts Contacts icon.
  2. Choose More (three dot icon).
  3. Select Edit contact or Delete.
From basic mail
  1. Select Contacts.
  2. Scroll to the entry you want to change.
  3. Select the pencil icon to make changes. Or select the trash can to remove the contact.

Import contacts

Want to add all your contacts from another email account? It’s easy to import that info from Google, Outlook.com, or Yahoo! Mail.

From AT&T Mail
  1. Select Contacts Contacts icon.
  2. Choose More (three dot icon).
  3. Select Import, then choose Import again next to the email provider you want to get contacts from.
  4. Follow the prompts.
Good to know: Want to add a contact file from an email program? You can save your address book from an email client like Microsoft Outlook or Apple Mail as a .csv or .vcf file. AT&T Mail supports both file types. Check with your email client manufacturer for more info.
