Learn how to download your AT&T Prepaid® eSIM to your phone or tablet.
An eSIM is a digital SIM that connects your device to the AT&T network. It gives you flexibility to manage your wireless plan and device.

To find out if your device is eSIM-capable, press *#06# on the device. If you see an EID number listed, your device can use eSIM.
No EID number? You’ll want to get a physical SIM card for your AT&T Prepaid device.

You’ll receive a notification on your device to download the eSIM after purchasing it on the AT&T Prepaid website.
While setting up your iPhone® over Wi-Fi®, your eSIM might download automatically or you might be prompted to install an AT&T cellular plan. If you have wireless service bars or you can make a call, you're all set.

If your iPad uses eSIM, you may be asked to install a cellular plan when you set it up. If you aren't asked, you can install one now:
If you can't download your eSIM with these steps, activate your iPad first.
Just turn on your phone and follow the setup prompts. If you have wireless service bars or you can make a call, you're all set.
