Buggy
Bought this around 12/20/2016 so I the latest version. It is very entertaining and informative. It's not to be depended upon. We have Verizon FIOS on Fiber at 50 meg. It's trouble free except for the echo. It is constantly dropping out and reconnecting. Needless to say none of our other devices have this issue. Needs more network stabilization work.

I have no regrets. I absolutely love my device and had to by some other devices to pair for light and other things but the connections was very easy.

Q: Is the speaker cordless?

- A: I don't have 1 of these but I'm getting one and am familiar with the Alexa and echo products (google) that work with Google Chrome and iPhones. My Echo dot, named Alexa does plug in although she's wireless and is connected to however many devices are in the home at the time, if they've linked up to her, as well as my satellite TV (which means she would also be to cable tv). This just makes it easier so it's one less thing for us to have to deal with, plugging in & charging on a regular basis, I imagine, but if not, I'm glad it worked out that way! What a pain life would be if we became so automated with everything in life, but they centered around a plug and yet still needing electricity! Ha! I am getting another dot for my bedroom and have SiriusXm radio in my car, which is now added to my phone and on my satellite, so I can play the music just by asking Alexa to play a station I like and its playing all throughout the house, including the kitchen when I get this hub for it! You will love it! She will sing songs, tell you jokes, give you every wikipedia answer you ask as well as the latest news, weather, be an alarm, remind you to do things each day, & so much more. - A: Hey Jeffory, Thank you for posting this question! The Amazon Echo cannot sync with your AT&T cable box, you would not be able to change channels or the volume. I apologize about this. It can sync with your AT&T wireless phone however, so you can tell the Echo to text your friends and family.
