A true dual charger
Purchased this item because both ports output 2amps. Every other dual charger I have run across (and I have been looking since the Galaxy S4 and the S7 was recently released) output two amps on only one port. Other than that one key point it is a USB charger and it works as it should. A little pricey but well worth it for me. Worth it enough that I have 4 of them.

Next day shipping at no extra charge! Ordered it on a Thursday and got it on Friday. The charger works like a champ, putting out 2.4 amps on each port. And I love that it outputs the full 2.4 amps on both ports simultaneously. It does not support Samsung's "Fast Charging" but with a quality USB cable, the speed difference is negligible. The single port charger that came with the phone said an hour and 10 minutes to charge my phone (from 15%) .... the same cable and phone plugged into this charger needed an hour and 20 minutes. Check your cables, they do go bad with heavy use.

description makes no sense

"The Dual USB High Amp Wall Charger packs 4.8 amps (12 watts) of power per USB port". A USB port is at 5v (or higher when powering a usb-c device) 5V x 4.8 amps = 24 watts. So if it is really 12 watts then it is only 2.4 amps. If it is 4.8 amps then it would be 24 watts.
No, I do not recommend this product.

- A: SoLoT1, 4.8 amps would be 24 watts. That means that EACH USB port supplies 2.4 amps (12 watts). (2) @ 2.4=4.8 (2) @ 12=24 It appears misleading as it clearly states the “total” amps but then UNclearly breaks it down by watts. Hope that makes sense :)7 years agoHelpful?
