I was on the hunt for a new phone as my Samsung Galaxy Note8 was slowing down, not charging etc. etc. I knew I did not want Samsung because their customer service had been horrible for the past few years for all the products (phone, watch, tv) and I am not a fan of apple so my choices were extremely limited. I was sure this phone was going to end up being a burner phone due to the low price tag but this thing is a beast! Its big, takes gorgeous pictures, I am on it ALLLLLL Day and only change it once, its fast and was quick to connect to all my devices and apps. I have had it about 2 weeks so time will tell on durability, but so far I am very pleased with my choice to forego the crazy expensive options when this phone does it all for a fraction of the price. Its heavy. That doesn't phase me, but for some may be an issue because its a bit of a brick, but the screen resolution is great and the phone itself is pretty.

Terrible Phone - DON'T PURCHASE!

Purchased this phone August 2021 and it has stopped working twice. Support is terrible. This is my 1st Motorola phone and I will never purchase another one.

Worst phone ever. Not user friendly.

From day one, this phone was a complete nightmare. Everything is backwards on this phone. There is no back space button, can't close out apps properly, everything is a swipe disaster. I ready to swipe this phone right out the window! I am returning this phone! I don't think I will ever buy another Motorola phone. Whoever made this phone, should be ashamed!

Better than expected

I will start this by saying I am a big fan of reading reviews but hardly ever give one. With that said, I was really looking for another phone to replace my Galaxy Note. I found out that they discontinued the Galaxy Note for the ultra and I was not paying $1,200 for a phone. So for over a month, I was going back and forth trying to figure out what phone I wanted to get. I've had a Motorola before in the past but have had Samsung Galaxy Notes for the past few years. I purchased this phone a week ago and I must say that I like it. There are some slight differences between this and the Note, but if you are trying to replace a Note, this is a good replacement. The battery is awesome, it moves pretty fast, and I like the features that the Note didn't have. So far, so good for me and hope it stays that way There is definitely a large learning curve but worth it. I would definitely recommend this phone to those replacing a Note.

Unreliable phone

This phone is awful!! My parents and I all have one, and we all have the same problems. They turn themselves off and restart unexpectedly. And not just once! They'll restart over and over again. They'll get super warm while it happens, too. We'll randomly loose all cell service, and it won't connect to wifi. We don't get text messages sometimes, or we won't get them until hours later.
The stylus is fun, but I never use it. When it works, it's nice. It's just so unreliable and so frustrating to not know if my phone will work when I need it.

Hate it!

AT&T rep talked me into this phone when everything went 5G and it is terrible- way too big, no stylus despite what the picture shows- cannot type/text- have to write with finger or get a stylus. I'm not one joined at the hip with my cell phone for everything, don't access the internet, watch movies, etc. It might be great for other people but not for me.
No, I do not recommend this product.
