AT&T Phone – Advanced upgrades your landline to our enhanced solution which uses the AT&T cellular network for your home phone. It’s reliable, cost-effective, and lets you keep your current phone number.

If you live in parts of California, traditional landline home phone (AT&T Residential Local Service) without internet may be available — which includes:
 

Digital home phone service uses VoIP (voice over IP) technology to deliver telephone service over an internet connection. AT&T digital home phone service operates similarly to a traditional landline.

AT&T is moving away from copper-based phone and broadband service in many areas. Customers affected by this change will be notified and given support to move to a newer home phone service, such as AT&T Phone – Advanced, so they can stay connected.
