Pairing your Apple Pencil
Learn how to pair your Apple Pencil to a compatible iPad device. Make sure bluetooth is turned on prior to the pairing process. Try forgetting and repairing the device if needed.
1.
Remove the cap from Apple Pencil.
2.
Insert Apple Pencil into the Lightning port on iPad.
Apple Pencil pairs with iPad via Bluetooth.
3.
Tap Pair.
4.
Remove Apple Pencil from the lightning port on iPad.
5.
Replace the cap on Apple Pencil.
6.
You've completed the steps!
