Taking an Instant Note with Apple Pencil
Enable notes on the lock screen to allow you to write notes while the device is locked.
1.
From the Home screen, tap Settings.
2.
Scroll to Notes.
3.
Tap Notes.
4.
Scroll to Access Notes from Lock Screen.
5.
Tap Access Notes from Lock Screen.
6.
Tap Always Create New Note.
7.
Press the Top button to lock your screen.
8.
Press the Top button again to wake your screen.
9.
Tap the Lock screen with Apple Pencil to start a new note.
10.
Write or draw on your screen with Apple Pencil to compose your new note.
11.
You've completed the steps!
