Managing the battery
Learn how to manage the battery on your device. Taking care of your battery will extend your battery life.
1.
Within the settings app, scroll to Battery.
2.
Tap Battery.
3.
Tap Battery usage.
From this screen, you can view details about how your battery power is being used.

Select an app to view more information.
5.
Tap the Back button.
6.
Tap the Back button again.
7.
Tap Battery Manager.
8.
Tap or slide the Use Battery Manager switch to ON.
Battery Manager saves battery power by detecting when apps drain battery.
9.
Tap the Back button.
10.
Tap Battery Saver.
11.
Tap or slide the Use Battery Saver switch to ON.
Battery Saver saves battery power by turning on Dark theme and limiting background activity, visual effects, certain features and some network connections.

You've completed the steps!
