Adding and removing contacts from favorites
Add or remove contacts from your favorites list to keep your favorite contacts easily accessible. Removing contacts from your favorites list does not remove them from your device.
1.
From the Contacts app main screen, select the contact you'd like to mark as a favorite.

Tap the Star icon to add the contact to favorites.
When the star icon is yellow, that means the contact has been designated as a favorite.
3.
To remove a contact from favorites, tap the Star icon again.
Removing a contact from your favorites won't delete the contact from your device.

You've completed the steps!
