Using Satellite when cellular or Wi-Fi is unavailable
In an emergency when cellular and Wi-Fi aren't working, first try calling 911. If it doesn't connect, you will see an option for "Emergency text via Satellite" or a green satellite icon. Tap this icon to begin a guided process of connecting to a satellite to send critical information to emergency services, which may include answering a questionnaire, sharing your Medical ID, and your location.

From the Settings app, scroll to and tap Safety and emergency.

Tap Satellite SOS.

From this screen, you can select from multiple options:
Try A Demo - This demo will walk you through the Satellite SOS setup, then sending a message with the Satellite SOS service.
Choose Information to Share - Allows you to choose which contacts and Google account you wish to share when using Satellite SOS.
